/the broken man

tumbling, mumbling, bumbling by 
to the rest, he's a crazy guy 
genius for some, for other a lost case 
the only non player in the worlds rat race 

noone could figure out the the rhyme, the reason 
some came close, from time to time 
but everytime, he was awarded with such treason 
that without his wings, he learnt to fly 

it was a broken little day, in a broken little place 
where he first saw her pass by 
and despite his many inhibitions, despite the many reasons 
he still walked up to her and said Hi 

she saw him through his walls, but what she saw was broken, 
he realized 
and so giving up the faith, on his own tongue, choking 
he tried 

but she had a heart of gold, and she was not onr of the people 
so to him, she was so kind 
he couldn't believe anything, but he himself was so feeble 
and now he could se again, no longer blind
